Momentum Dance Toronto (MDT) is primarily an adult member-based performance company, proud to be celebrating its 14th season. Our collective brings together trained and passionate professional and non-professional dancers of all backgrounds. Whether a member is here to teach, choreograph, or take the stage, MDT is a welcoming and collaborative space where we encourage artists to rediscover and further explore their passion for dance, in a wide range of disciplines. At MDT, every operating season and every performance is a true reflection of the collective contributions by all its members, fueled by our united dedication to keep dancing, no matter what life throws our way.
Today, MDT is a staple of the Toronto/GTA arts scene - celebrated for reconnecting dancers with their passion and producing high-caliber dance works, including 14 full-scale multidisciplinary dance productions to date, and featured appearances ranging from music videos to the Toronto Fringe Festival, from corporate events to the 2025 World Series. More than a decade later, MDT remains a vital creative home where diverse talents thrive through collaboration and a shared love for the stage.

PERFORMANCE COMPANY
A collective of passionate, artistic and professional individuals who have all studied dance in various forms throughout their lives. Many of our members have pursued careers within the dance community, while others dance for personal joy and self-expression. Momentum Dance Toronto has provided its members with a creative outlet to keep dance and performance in their lives, while still accommodating their busy schedules.
